Our materials make metal extraction more efficient by saving energy, chemicals and water consumption by orders of magnitude. Eventually our technology will power multi-metal refineries for an efficient circular economy of metals.We are currently looking for a Computational biologist (m/f/d) with experience in:
- Protein design, optimization of scaffolds and related analysis
- Programming languages: python, R, bash
Candidates must have a M.Sc. or PhD in (Bio-)informatics or related subjects. If candidates hold a M.Sc. degree, they must have at least 2 years‘ experience in relevant topics. We seek a motivated team member who is creative, pays to detail and enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in the English language is a must.Responsibilities:
- Perform in silico protein design
- Perform structure-based searches
- Carry out phylogenetic analysis of protein sequences
- Apply cutting-edge computational design tools like RFdiffusion and RoseTTAFold All-Atom
- Document, present and discuss data
- Keep organized and documented codebase
- Participate in scientific discussion and collaborate in the team to find solutions to upcoming scientific challenges
- Support planning of work packages and milestones
