Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day processes, procedures, and data quality review for POS (Point-of-Sale) data for the industries we cover (Beauty, Sport and Toys). You will focus on identifying and resolving data quality issues related to methodology.

You will contribute to supporting our Commercial and Research Science/Analytics teams across the various industries.

Main job responsibilities are:

  • Oversee the management of our methodologies (ex NPD)
  • In charge of managing the maintenance and development to ensure the methodology reflects the most accurate representation of the industry size and trends
  • Stay ahead of the changes/maintenance required on the different production cycles
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the set-up in production, in times of transition to new platforms
  • Maintain all documentation on methodologies, processes and procedures to ensure a reference log of decisions mad
  • Ensure that solutions are sound and aligned with our clients’ needs to provide market value
  • Take in charge / contribute to POS Sample Upgrades and restatements; ensure they are sound with objectives
  • Provide insights and make value-added contributions towards the improvement of methodologies and processes
  • Actively contribute to the improvement and optimization of statistical methods and propose solutions to potential issues identified in data.
  • Promote consistency in implementation of designed enhancements across different businesses
  • Partner with Client Development, Retail Business Group, Panel, and Operations teams to achieve goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to the commercial teams and external clients to ensure the best use of the data delivered

Job Requirements

  • Expert in data management, strong understanding of data collection and analytical processes
  • 2/3 years of experience in data analytics/data science with a consulting approach
  • Knowledge of analytical tools : R is mandatory, Python is desired but not required
  • Consulting approach: detail-oriented with strong organization/project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen to the customer and appropriately direct the customer to the best solution
  • English fluent, French fluent is ideal but not mandatory
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
