As Head of Division Controlling, you are responsible for the business management of the Risk Prevention Division. You act as a sparring partner for the head of division and the functional managers of the business division on commercial topics. You also play a key role in driving the planning and strategy process as well as the coordination with the countries and plants and lead a controlling team.

  • Commercial advisor to the management team of the Risk Prevention Division and interface to the controlling and finance area
  • Leading role in the planning and forecasting process – analysis and explanation of discrepancies and initiation / implementation of measures to achieve set targets
  • Shaping role in the target setting process incl. coordination of strategic measures with the countries and coordination of target setting for assigned production plants
  • Coordination of the strategic planning process and strategic management of the business division
  • Responsibility for the coordination, control and monitoring of the division projects & compass projects, including the definition of strategic measures
  • Ensuring transparent and financial key figures along the entire value chain to identify major cost and profit drivers
  • Initiating and driving meaningful simplifications as a change agent
  • Leadership responsibility for the controlling team of the division

  • Several years of professional experience in controlling within an international industrial company, preferably in country, business unit, and corporate function
  • Profound knowledge of SAP BW/ERP tools and very good MS Office skills

  • Very high analytical understanding and project management skills
  • Structured and results-oriented approach to work
  • Strong (oral and written) communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
