We are looking for an Education Programs and University Relations Manager to join Ormco’s Central Education & Event’s team located in Remote, supporting all European Markets. Reporting to the EMEA Sr. Education & Events Manager, the Education Programs and University Relations Manager has a full understanding of all the educational aspects in regards of the suite of products under their responsibilities. They will coordinate and work closely with internal (Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Product, Education, Events) and external (Key Experts/KOL) stake holders. The candidate will define and lead the external education programs (Ormco Customers and Post-Graduates Students), related to Ormco Products, orchestrating an Education Customer Lifecycle with different stakeholders, to support the onboarding of new doctors and growth of the Ormco business within the EMEA market.

Education Programs and University Relations Manager

The Education Programs and University Relations Manager will be the principal architect responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of Clinical programs as well as managing the collaboration between Ormco and the universities, to enhance the clinical Education Initiatives and Strengthen University Relations

Job Requirements:

In collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders, the Education Programs and University Relations Manager will define and lead the external education strategy across the continuum of care for the Ormco business.

Follow up best-in-class learning trends and re-evaluate and continuously improve the learning experience for doctors.

Key Activities

  • Forecasts needs for education programs to support growing and mature markets in collaboration with marketing, education, and sales teams.
  • Develops and implements education programs plans with measurable outcomes together with sales leaders and analytics teams.
  • Evaluates existing programs for impact and alignment with divisional needs. Creates training curriculums and annual plans.
  • Develops, continuously updates, and orchestrates external education programs.
  • Develops new customer engagement programs and events supporting our strategic goals and sales objectives and facilitates learning.
  • Builds collaborations with universities and supports university programs in EMEA region. Opportunities for case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Maintains personal contacts, correspondence, and telephone calls to follow-up with prospective Universities. Develops and manages engagement programs focused on increasing the depth and diversity of the relationships within a university.
  • Identifies, develops, and manages external customer KOL/KE to ensure high quality faculty at internal and external education activities.
  • Provides regular updates on clinical education programs (contents and KOLs) in collaboration with clinical relations manager.
  • Can provide clinical training as part of new KOLs onboarding in collaboration with product team and KOL manager.
  • Audits capability and knowledge base of doctor segments regardless of experience and tenure with clear aligner or brackets. Builds a plan to close the gaps identified.
  • Collaborates with education manager, sales managers, clinical specialists, marketing managers, digital support specialists and digital technical specialists.
  • Collaborates with clinical support team, product, and marketing to develop and deploy tools to facilitate learning.
  • Work with Marketing agency to ensure presentation decks have a professional look and feel and conveys clinical message.
  • Ensures that educational activities across countries/markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.
  • Admin work related and not limited to university and education programs such as: invoicing, contracts and legal and compliance
