Job Description: ID Energy Group is a Spanish company dedicated to the development and construction of renewable energy projects with a special focus on solar PV. The company is in a continuous process of international expansion and has already established itself in more markets: Spain, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Chile and RomaniaID Energy Group is currently looking for an Environmental & Permitting Specialist – Biomethane/Biogas to reinforce its regional team based in Budapest.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all the environmental and permitting part of the biogas/biomethane projects in Hungary, mainly supervise the environmental authorization provided by the external consultant/authorities, identifying possible failures and propose improvements. You will be reporting to the Head of Renewable Gases in Hungary.
, -Lead the environmental compliance and related permitting procedures
-Analyze and manage environmental permits for our projects
-Establish and maintain relations with authorities and subcontractors preparing permit application documentation
– Coordinate the preparation of a range of written documents such as technical reports and plans required by permits
-Prepare, interpret, and submit environmental permit applications
-Work closely with project development and legal departments to ensure effective integration of environmental practices at all stages of the project
-Monitor and analyze environmental policies and regulations that affect the company
-Develop relationships with external stakeholders e.g., corporates, service providers, consultants, etc. , -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Protection/Agricultural/Environmental Management Engineering, possibly in EHS engineering, Environmental protection engineering, Bioengineering or Biologist,
-At least 3-5 years of experience at environmental consulting company or a production company with a significant environmental impact or at an environmental permition authority
-Proven experience working on environmental permitting projects
-Self-starter with excellent organizational/task management skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with regulators, external authorities and partners
-Proficiency in English and in Hungarian
