Job Description: Position Title: Health & Safety Program Lead CEPosition Type: Regular – Full-Time ​Position Location: VilleneuvedAscq RDGrade: Grade 05Requisition ID: 28023As Health and Safety Program Lead within the McCain Continental Europe Engineering organization, you will develop, deliver, and track safety requirements for projects. The program lead is responsible for monitoring and auditing the credentials of contractor’s safety staff and implementation of plans during construction phase.You will report to the Capital Excellence Program Manager and work in close collaboration with the Health and Safety Director and the Engineering Team. You will support the project execution engineers to identify risk and potential mitigation plans related to safety during construction.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and deliver H&S capability training programs for project for regional and site leaders in link with Masterplan 2030.· Act as a coach to project execution engineers in specifics of Safety Programs and requirements to drive incident reduction.· Monitor and audit implementation of plans during construction phase.· Monitor and audit the credentials of contractor’s safety staff.· Support on-boarding of contractors at regional and site level, delivering key elements of McCain H&S systems.· Work with Regional team to support development and updates to Policy as needed resulting from CE H&S implementation.· Collect, report and support data analysis of safety metrics to meet regional and global requirements.· The position is internally focused to support the Business Values and Priorities, through development general contractor program and delivery of safety programs for our colleagues, and reporting compliance.· Provides materials and capability programs to drive improvements in safety knowledge and policy adherence. Supports regional H&S and Site Leadership to deliver on best training materials to decrease overall risk profile. This shall include identification of highest risk items and development of plan to address gaps. Person shall be able to analyze trends and make recommendations for improvement to leadership team for ongoing improvement.· This person should be able to analyze and make recommendations for process simplification to H&S leadership team. As needed, modifications shall be implemented and tracked to completion. This shall include both regional and global systems as appropriate.· The position focusses on loss prevention and compliance, related to minimizing operational costs and increasing productivity and efficiency. Through support of regional H&S business leads, this role will help provide data collection and analysis to permit more efficient management of H&S workload.· In terms of continuous improvement, drive H&S capability improvement to meet needs of general contractor management, incident reduction, RCA and others as required.· This position is responsible for development and implementation of core projects and general contractor for H&S personnel and affected colleagues.Position Requirements :· The minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in H&S or other related function (engineering, quality, training coordinator, analyst, etc.) with minimum direct experience in safety of 5-7 years.· The position requires as a minimum 4-5 years of H&S experience as well as some experience operating at regional or Corporate level.· Problem solving complexity is low however impact potential is high based upon data analysis and subject matter expert requirements. Person should be able to coordinate appropriate capability session with SME’s and site teams.
