In short, Bosch creates technology that is “Invented for life.”Job DescriptionWorking closely with the Head of the EU Affairs Office in a supporting role, the task of the intern include:

  • Monitoring of EU policies and drafting notes (Mobility, Emissions Regulations, Road Safety, Digitalisation, Energy, Environment and Climate etc.);
  • Attendance of and reporting on policy events in Brussels;
  • Attendance of and reporting on association meetings;
  • Assisting with research and analysis of policy issues;
  • Helping with formulating advocacy and position papers;
  • Preparing and assisting in outreaches.

Qualifications

  • University degree in European studies, politics, communications, economics, law or business (preferably at a Master level).
  • Dynamic, excited about European affairs, able to feel ownership of their projects and see them through;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in German is a plus;
  • Excellent networking and social skills with a special attention to adapt to various intercultural settings;
  • Good analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills;
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
  • Understanding of EU institutions functioning is a plus;
  • Interest in transport/mobility, digitalization, energy, environment and climate.

Additional InformationIf you are a student enrolled in a University/College (or if you are available for a voluntary internship outside a university curriculum) you will be granted an allowance of € 1035,30/month.– If you want to apply for a voluntary internship, you must be a citizen of the EU or have a work permit in Belgium.– In case that you need to do a mandatory internship, your University/College must be located in a member state of the EU.Starting date: September 2024Duration: 6 months
