Job Description: Job DescriptionWe’re currently working with an exciting Korean food company, Samyang Foods. One of their mega-hit product, Buldak instant noodles, has been extremely successful in the European market and they have decided to launch a new European HQ in Amstelveen this year to accelerate their business and introduce new products to Europe. As for one of the the start-up members, we are seeking a Marketing Manager, experienced within the Food industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead marketing initiatives for a brand recognized worldwide for its successful product lines and dedication to sustainability and technology. The primary focus will be on brand management and new product introductions, with additional responsibilities in trade marketing campaigns, social media, and public relations. You will also lead a marketing specialist with the potential for team expansion, targeting key European markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, and France.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee both product management and brand communication
- Develop marketing strategy by identifying customer needs and market trends
- Manage SKU
- Oversee sales performance of key categories and products
- Manage the New Product Development (NPD) process
- Plan and supervise product launches and marketing campaigns
- Implement and manage trade marketing campaigns
- Develop and execute social media strategies
- Manage public relations relationships
- Lead and mentor a marketing specialist with potential for team growth
- Target marketing efforts towards key European markets (Germany, Netherlands, France, etc.)
- Analyze marketing outcomes to increase the efficiency of marketing activities
- Report directly to the CEO
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the FMCG/F&B industry
- 7+ years of marketing experience within branding and product communication (B2B2C)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with on- and off-line marketing campaigns, in-store activation and brand communication
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and strategic recommendations
- Solid project management capabilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Capability to conduct business correspondence in Korean is an advantage
- Proficiency in relevant software programs, including MS Office, database, and data analysis applications
- Knowledge of additional marketing tools is beneficial
- Residency in the Netherlands with a valid working permit is essential
- Ability to work on-site from the office in Amsterdam area
