To drive health protection, wellbeing support and proactive healthy performance, our team is recruiting an extra occupational health physician or emerging Occ Health leader.The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- You join a team of doctors and nurses where focus on qualitative service delivery and compliance with local regulations and J&J policies is key.
- You are an occupational health physician with interest in a broad variety of occupational health risks and are eager to contribute to and support the mental wellbeing and high performance of our world class employees.
- We are excited to hear from an emerging or aspirational OH team leader, especially if you have the desire to learn and become our next departmental or national service leader
- Alongside the execution of our medical surveillance programs, you give direction and support the team during emergency interventions.
- You contribute to the ongoing evolution of our critical employee support processes and first-class work practices related to medical surveillance, reintegration after illness, emergency response or mental wellbeing of our employees.
- You contribute to the health-related aspects of quality assurance and auditing programs.
- You support the employee health and mental wellbeing strategy for each location and deliver on goals in close partnership with the business and aligned with the global J&J strategy.
- You drive leadership engagement and partner collaboration in the sector where you will be responsible for such as R&D, chemical or pharmaceutical production…
- You participate in diverse health and wellbeing related steering committees, task forces and in at least 1 of the several health and safety committees.
- You collaborate closely with our EHS leaders, superb industrial hygienists and external prevention advisors psycho-social wellbeing.
- You report to the head of the medical department in Belgium.
QualificationsWe’d love to hear from YOU, if you have:
- You have master’s in occupational health, certified to perform the function of occupational doctor according to Belgian legislation and have more than 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
- You have the agility to work in a data driven, team-oriented, self-steering environment.
- You can drive positive and high-performance conversations with our local leaders and critical stakeholders to build trustworthy, long-term relationships.
- You have eye for business and customer sensitivity, and a keenness to build strategic, wellbeing centric partnerships.
- You are a strong communicator to multiple audiences who is trusted and self-assured.
- You are compliance oriented and able to drive a world class health protection program.
- You have highly developed interpersonal skills.
- You have strong technical skills in occupational health and can act professionally in case of medical emergencies.
- You speak fluently Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
