Summary

Dental MVZ Doryumu & Kollegen GmbH operate a total of four dental practices at the Landstuhl and Kaiserslautern locations. With 30 years of experience, 10 dentists, 1 orthodontist and a total of more than 50 employees, Dental MVZ provides a wide range of dental services with a very high level of quality. Some of Dental MVZ’s dentists and staff are American and the dental care centers also offer services specifically to members of the US military. Within this framework, some of Dental MVZ’s practices are able to invoice services via TRICARE.

Dental MVZ is looking for an enthusiastic Orthodontist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional orthodontic care and an unwavering commitment to patient satisfaction. You will be responsible for delivering personalized, quality orthodontic dental care to patients. You will provide and educate patients on their orthodontic treatment and their progress, communicate and build a foundation of trust and respect between clinician and patient and work in unison with other specialists and general dentists to provide the best optimal dental care. With your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills, you will be able to build relationships with patients and provide them with a positive orthodontic experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) with either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
  • Graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA of the ADA.
  • Qualifications must be recognized in Germany.
  • License: Possess a current, active, valid, and unrestricted license in at least one of the 50 states, and/or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or territories of the United States. The license must be and remain current, active, valid, and unrestricted.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Preferred Experience: Three years recent and full-time experience in care coordination and case management in a clinical setting.
  • Language Requirement: Read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical patient care and treatment.
  • Strong desire to collaborate in a diverse team.
  • Able to create a positive patient experience.
  • Able to articulate medical requirements to patients, families/caregivers, medical and non-medical staff in a professional and courteous way.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial irregularities.
  • Lead the diagnosis, prevention, interception and correction of dental malocclusion and neuromuscular/skeletal abnormalities of the developing or mature orofacial structures.
  • Apply knowledge of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics to straighten teeth and align jaws.
  • Assist in creating a unique, customer-focused dental experience for patients.
  • Develop and discuss treatment plan options with patients.
  • Utilize cutting-edge treatments, technology and orthodontic appliances to treat patients.
  • Educate patients about on-going orthodontic care and proper oral hygiene methods.
  • Collaborate with General Dentists and Orthodontic Assistants to enhance patient experience and treatment.
