The team goal is to create the logical infrastructure to permit the development of the needed solutions requested by management and customers. The infrastructure is based on Azure IoT and the architecture goes from the cloud to devices on the field that create a global and complex ecosystem the team has to manage. The main goal of the new employ is to develop solutions for the embedded facing pros and cons of this area and never forgetting that the new solutions are part of the ecosystem and have to work well within it. He/she will be working on connectivity and communication protocol related to charging vehicles in particular OCPP and he/she has to grant the compatibility and coherency between OCPP and internal behavioural aspects. He/she must grant that any update/modification is compliant with the global security-by-design approach of the system.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use Azure platform technologies
• Develop solutions mainly in Python
• Create PoC when needed
• Find solutions that might last over time instead of having quick and dirty results
• Work with the concept that any action has impact on other area and people
• Find the best way to create effective and efficient test, and develop them
• Create test infrastructure based on Gherkin test framework
• Work with DevOps infrastructure to automate the code compile and the test execution before deployment
• Document on Azure Wiki
• Create, use and improve cross project components
• Share code and work on the same code with colleagues
• Use Git infrastructure to store and share the code
• Understand the needs of the team, of the management and of the customer and translate them into solutions
• Split solutions into simpler parts
• Think before coding
• Use, understand and create communication protocols and infrastructure
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Continuous report to the team

QualificationsDegree and Experience:

• Information Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in an industrial or professional consulting company, specializing in Python programming.

Communication and Information Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

Technical Skills:

• Object-oriented programming languages: Python (mandatory), C# (a plus).
• Familiarity with OCPP1.6j and 2.0.1 is a plus.
• Technologies: Object-oriented programming.
• Protocols: MQTT, IoT, Modbus.
• Tools: Git, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps (desirable).
• Methodologies: Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Other desirable skills: Docker, Gherkin, Markup/Markdown, design patterns such as Client/Server, Request/Reply (Req/Rep), Publish/Subscribe (Pub/Sub).
• Experience with Yocto and KAS is beneficial.
