Contentsquare is looking for a self-starting, highly motivated Sr Product Designer, for their cross-sell team, to design useful, usable, and desirable products that in turn enable our customers to build better online experiences for all. Data and analytics tools should demonstrate the same care and craft as consumer software, designed with contemporary user- and human-centered practices.
As a Senior Product Designer for our Cross-sell product team (i.e., squad), your role is to ensure our entire portfolio of products is as successful as possible by leveraging different cross-sell opportunities to help our users discover, try, and purchase new products that can help them better understand their own users. This involves designing simple, engaging experiences and iteratively improving the user journey. We appreciate designers who think in systems, are eager to validate their work, can communicate effectively, and love to give and receive feedback.
Senior Product Designers work across a range of design practices, from up-front research, insights, and strategy, through to ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery of final designs. We’re not looking for ‘unicorns’ who are expected to be brilliant at everything, but we do expect comfort throughout the design process and a desire to continually broaden and improve your skills. You will collaborate with various teams and departments, working closely within a trio that also includes the Lead Engineer and Product Manager.

As a product designer, you will:

  • Design and re-design product experiences across our customer experience analytics offerings
  • Conduct upfront user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users, with the support and guidance of UX Researchers
  • Translating research insights into elegant user experiences that satisfy user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Design and document workflows and wireframes, bringing them alive as high-fidelity visual composites built upon our Design System
  • Work within a multidisciplinary product team, leading the design and research process, facilitating design discussions, and validating product/experience changes.
  • Advocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
  • Share ideas, successes, and knowledge to build trust and extend the reach of the discipline overall.

We’re excited to work with someone who:

  • Has a proven track record for building and testing delightful products and user experiences
  • Knows how to analyze a problem, consider research and data, then propose and deliver a solution
  • Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and Helps to steer debates into decisions during team discussions
  • Is comfortable being self-directed; you don’t need someone guiding you through the design work
  • Is familiar with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
  • Has core competencies in Interaction Design and Visual UI design, supplemented with proficiency in adjacent skills such as UX Research, UX Writing, and Information Architecture.
  • Understands how design work connects with broader business value
  • Has experience working in complex systems with multiple audiences and complicated workflows; enterprise SaaS a plus
  • Is familiar with Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices
  • Has excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
