By combining in-house research activities with a wide research network across Europe, we conceive, incubate and test novel concepts in virtual and non-virtual environments before they are handed downstream towards future product development. The position is with AI Core Research team which is in charge of performing cutting edge research on machine learning and computer vision.Your projectVision Language Models (VLMs) have shown impressive performance and ability of describing with language various types of images contents, opening the door for AI assistants that can understand our world and support humans and their daily tasks. Existing models are generic and don’t understand users specifics or their belonging. We want to create a specialized vision language model that recognizes the user, their relatives, their belonging, etc. Imagine an elderly assistant robot to fetch some personal belongings, or a model that can describe an image and scene based with personalized wordings (your sun, your mug, your favourite book, …). The plan is to start from pretrained generic VLM and add a specialization module. - You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Strong background on machine learning
- Preferable experience with vision and language models
- Experience with deep learning frameworks
- Ability to understand research papers, implement and propose ideas
