Job Description: The Finance & HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources functions of the company. This position will lead and manage respective teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, implementing efficient processes, and providing strategic guidance to support the organization’s goals.Key Responsibilities:Finance & Accounting Management
- Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounting team, providing guidance and support in all related areas.
- Oversee freight collection, F2BC, and credit management processes.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
- Handle corporate accounts in accordance with local GAAP.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, monitoring and steering cash flow and bank activities.
- Establish and monitor processes, procedures, targets, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct training and development programs for team members and trainees.
- Participate in regional and global projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting/Audit and Budget
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, annual financial report as per local GAAP.
- Coordinate annual financial statements and reporting to authorities, following IFRS/ISOX standards.
- Ensure successful internal and external audits.
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget preparation and providing regular monthly updates and analysis.
- Provide consulting support to Country Manager on financial corporate issues.
Tax and Corporate Governance:
- Manage all tax-related matters, serving as the primary contact for tax authorities.
- Ensuring effective corporate and tax structure.
- Preparing Annual Shareholder’s meetings and tax return fillings.
Human Resource Management:
- Supervising the HR function and team, overseeing recruiting, payroll, and employee training.
- Coordinate apprenticeship program and ensure compliance relevant legislation and internal procedures.
- Manage Internal and external reporting related to HR activities.
- Monitor HR Budget and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Provide consulting support to the country manager and HR-related matters.
Administration
- Oversee all administrative matters, including contracts, insurances, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct training & development and performance appraisal for team members.
- Ensure compliance with administrative regulations, including certifications such as AEO.
- Address safety, security and company doctor’s issues as necessary.
Function:
Countries & Business Development
- Certified Accountant or B.A. or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Taxes, HR, or Business Administration, MBA preferred.
- Additional HR related education or certificates (e.g. payroll related / labor law / contracting etc.)
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in similar management positions in global companies.
- Excellent analytical skills, high level of reliability and professional behavior.
- Strong leadership skills with high social competency and good interpersonal and investigative skills.
- Extended knowledge in Finance & Accounting, MS Office, SAP, Shipping business, and HR.
- Fluent in the local language and English is a must.
