Job Description: Our client is a leading Main Contractor who is in search of an experienced Lifting Manager to join our dynamic team in Groningen, Netherlands committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services. As Lifting Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of lifting activities including planning, coordination, supervision and safety compliance.Key Responsibilities & Requirements.Plan and organize lifting operations, including movements of heavy equipment, machinery & materials to ensure effective and safe execution.Develop lifting plans, methods and risk assessments for lifting activities, considering relevant factors that may affect lifting operations.Supervise the maintenance, inspection and certification of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoist, slings etc. to ensure compliance with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).Carry out regular inspections of lifting equipment & accessories to identify any defects or issues and take needed actions/solutions.Enforce and implement safety policies, procedures and lifting practices to ensure compliance with regulation, codes and standards.Collaborate with stakeholders including regulatory authorities, contractors, and suppliers as needed, ensuring compliance with HSE standards.Conduct risk assessments of lifting activities and implement controls to eliminate risks.Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and crane operators to schedule lifting operations according to project timeline.Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including lifting plans, equipment inspections, incident reports & training records.Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.5 years’ experience as A61 Appointed Person Blue Card.Proven track record in lifting operations with demonstrated expertise in managing lifting equipment & supervising lifting activities.Knowledgeable in updated legislations, regulations, best practices & standards in lifting operations.Excellent communication, leadership, problem- solving and negotiation skills.Proficiency in lifting operations softwares & tools.Please apply with your updated CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.Ideal candidates must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
