Making it safer, cleaner and more efficient for people and the planet.Partner with the bestThe Mechanical Field Service Engineer Reciprocating Compressor, will coordinate and oversee work at the a field site, providing quality service to the customer.This may include sales, job design, execution, and follow up activities. As Mechanical Field Service Engineer Reciprocating Compressor you will provide the planning necessary for the job, including instructions to the crew and equipment used. You will coordinate and direct the activities of service operators and may evaluate individual performance levels of the crew and train operators to improve their job performance.As Mechanical Field Service Engineer Reciprocating Compressor, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of IET Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
  • performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the IET Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
  • Being the primary contact to work with the Customer Representative and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
  • Providing records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
  • Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all IET Service applicable processes and procedures.
  • Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.
  • Providing limited troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).
