We’re looking for a People Assistant to join our People & Impact team in our Paris office starting from January 2024, assisting the team with day-to-day operations, functions, and duties.

As a People Assistant, your responsibilities will be:

  • Employment Contract Administration: Draft employment contracts and contract amendments using appropriate templates to reflect the agreements between the company and its employees.
  • Probation Period Management: Oversee probation periods for all employees using the Bamboo HR platform, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles within the company.
  • Health Insurance Enrolment: Ensure all employees are registered in the health insurance system with their preferred coverage, promoting their well-being and security in the workplace.
  • Coordination of Medical Examinations: Plan and track employees‘ medical visits, ensuring they receive regular health check-ups to support their overall well-being.
  • Payroll Assistance: Provide support in the preparation, collection, and distribution of payslips, contributing to efficient payroll management and employee satisfaction.
  • Work and Residence Permit Handling: Prepare renewal requests for work permits and residence permits for foreign employees in close collaboration with the People team, guaranteeing legal compliance and the seamless continuity of their presence within the company.

What will contribute to your success:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac +2/+3 qualification) in a relevant field
  • A previous experience as an intern or apprentice for at least 12 months
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong organizational skills, and commitment to precision, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Proficiency in Excel, by using data to support various aspects of the role.
  • Fluent English skills, as we are an international company, enabling effective communication and collaboration in a global work environment.
  • Knowledge of SYNTEC collective agreement, SILAE, or BambooHR is a significant advantage
