Job Beschreibung: A wide range of tasks within molecular biology and independent work in a great team sounds exactly to what you like? Become part of our R&D team around yield stability and influence the future of nutrition with us! Start as soon as possible as Research Technician (all gender) Yield Traits at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. We would like to work with you at our location in Einbeck (Germany) and offer a permanent contract full-time or part-time.
The following tasks are waiting for you:
- Planning and execution of molecular biology work (cloning, PCR, etc.)
- Isolation of DNA and RNA
- Transformation and cultivation of bacteria
- Planning and documentation of tests (LIMS and ELN)
- Independent evaluation and interpretation of test results
- Field and greenhouse work, such as scoring
- Propagation and processing of plants in sterile culture
With this profile you fit the position:
- Completed vocational training as LTA/BTA/ATA
- Initial professional experience would be desirable, but we are also happy to offer you an entry
- Practical experience in molecular biology work such as cloning, PCR, restriction digestion and gel electrophoresis would be a benefit
- An add-on would be also hands-on experience working with bacteria and processing with plants
- Good PC skills and office software, pleasure of working with software solutions
- Reliable, conscientious and independent way of working
- Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills
- Very good knowledge of German; knowledge of English is an advantage
