About the role:

We are in search of a self-motivated, solution-oriented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Affinidi Elements team. In this role, you will work with global peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product portfolio, from the product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. You will be responsible for building high-quality multi-platform application where your expert technical skills will intersect with passion and customer obsession providing the best user experience.

What’s in it for you:

Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Actively collaborate with globally distributed teams of engineers, designers and product managers
Own medium-large features end-to-end, gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
Develop secure, performant and scalable backend services and REST APIs
Contribute to frontend UI development
Ensure product quality by writing automated tests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers on larger projects

You will be a great match if you:

You have 5+ years of experience in web development
You are a passionate developer across both front and back-end with extensive experience using Javascript, Typescipt, Node.js and React.
Have experience with performance and optimization problems, and demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent such problems
Have strong experience of building user-friendly, responsive, efficient, and world-class user experience.
Have extensive expertise in cloud computing and native environments (AWS preferred)
Understand design patterns and have working experience in developing and deploying microservices in the cloud, and have a proven track-record in doing so
Are hands-on with REST APIs and are able to apply Test Driven Development principles effectively.
Care about privacy by design, security, testing, high-performance systems

Bonus points if you:

Have experience with other languages and frameworks (Dart, Flutter, C#, C++, Golang, Rust for example)
Have experience with WebAssembly
Have a good understanding of cryptography.
