The MAS’ customer facing time will be optimized by the platform roles as that is its key responsibilityMain responsibilitiesThe MAS will be responsible to develop strategic partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders during the entire lifecycle of Pfizer Therapeutic Area portfolioShe/ he provides focused relevant information in response to customer-stated needs in order to maintain a therapeutic leadership position and drive medical scientific needs at the national, regional, and corporate levelAble to partner with high level scientific KOL’s at peer levelShape the scientific environment with regards to protocols, guidelines etc.Identify clinical scientific opportunities and act on themIdentify the scientific decision-making units and position Pfizer as trustworthy partnerLeads medical to medical communications in the fieldScientific expert for HCPs, Medical Societies, Academia and other relevant key scientific stakeholdersActs on national level and is a key member of the cluster medical networkShe/ He will work in a cross-functional, national and international team to maximize the value of Pfizer TA portfolio in country and at regional levelProvides medical-scientific input to the BUs and co-create company’s plans through actionable customers’ medical insightsPlans and executes medical scientific strategic plans, as per TA roleStipulates medical strategy and leads X-FT projects with different internal stakeholders.Accountable for the TA related medical projects including budgetShe/ He acts according to the high standards of compliance, ethics, and safety of Pfizer productsAbout youBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences plus 7 years of relevant work experience or a master’s degree in Life Sciences plus 6 years of relevant work experience or a master’s degree and PhD level in Life Sciences plus 2 years of relevant work experienceRelevant work experience is bio-pharmaceutical industry, academic or post graduate experience preferably in TA-related areaFluency in local language and in business English [minimal level C1]CompetenciesAbility to quickly absorb large quantities of scientific information, including critical appraisal of clinical studies and publications and distill key conclusionsAbility to effectively communicate in-depth scientific knowledgeAbility to connect and interact with stakeholders with social sensitivity and build sustainable relationshipsSolid understanding of [the process of] drug developmentDemonstrated business acumen, including decision-making and prioritizationPreferred QualificationsA Medical Doctor or PhD title is considered a plusA good understanding of the national and regional health environment including its structure, policy, key members and scientific societiesIn-depth knowledge of the therapy area, the relevantmedicines in the portfolio and the pipelineAn understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions in relation to the applicable regulations, Code of Practice and SOPs is a plusWhat do we offer?Innovative company Pfizer has a pipeline full of innovative medicines for a variety of conditions.
