(Senior) Staff Application Engineer (f/m/d)

Based out of our Dusseldorf office in Germany.

To further strengthen the technical capabilities of the High Performance Compute Solution Group the Application Support department is looking for an experienced Senior/Staff Application Engineer supporting our customers during the development of their automotive applications and systems

Your Role:

Provide technical support to our customers during their development of SoC/MCU systems in Automotive Applications
The ability to get involved with system level design or in-depth technical support if required
Able to create application notes or demo products to simplify and fasten the application development of our customers.
Define and perform product trainings and drive local promotion programs
Build up close relation to the technical departments of our customers
Travel within the assigned territory to customers
Effective information exchange with the development teams at Renesas Japan

Your profile:

Graduate technical background in electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent
Proficient knowledge of embedded Linux and C/C++
Solid experience of development and debugging of SoC based applications and systems
Dedication to work efficiently in distributed, multinational, and interdisciplinary teams
Structured working style, analytical skills, and self-motivation to solve problems
Development or usage experience with security topics, automotive interfaces and prototyping is welcome, but not mandatory.
Good command of the English language
Valid and existing residence and work permit for EU-countries
