Job Beschreibung: We are looking for a full-time Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for the sugar beet breeding area from 1.11.2023. The position is with KWS SAAT SE & CO KGaA at the Einbeck location.

Your new challenge:

Practical performance of breeding work, from seedling cultivation to seed harvesting and implementation of crossing programs in the greenhouse and in the field.
Rating and monitoring work in the greenhouse and in the field, as well as assistance in setting up and conducting field trials
Assistance in trials in the greenhouse, in climate chambers and in the field
Preparation and set-up of marker projects, as well as sampling for marker analyses
Input, maintenance and preparation of data in MS Office and databases

Contribute your potential:

Completed vocational training as an LTA/ATA/PT or equivalent.
MS Office knowledge is required and initial database experience (e.g. Access) is an advantage, willingness to further training in databases is a prerequisite
Fluency in German required, basic English is a plus, willingness to acquire English skills is otherwise required
Certificate of expertise in plant protection or willingness to qualify
Driving license class B or willingness to acquire it in the near future
High level of initiative, independent working style, reliability and flexibility
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to occasionally travel seasonally
